Bankpediaa Skill Lab is a professional development platform for Indian banking professionals, operated by Yogesh Kumar (Ex-Punjab National Bank). The platform is accessible at bankpediaa.net and its associated subdomains.
When we say "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Bankpediaa Skill Lab. When we say "you" or "your", we mean you as a user of our platform.
Your name, email address, and profile photo as provided through Google Sign-In (OAuth). We do not store your Google password.
Information you voluntarily provide including phone number, date of birth, gender, profession, employer name, designation, work status, and expectations. This information helps us personalise your experience.
Your answers to the 30-question Self Evaluation Test, your calculated scores across 6 sections, your score label, key strengths, focus areas, and automatically generated flags for admin review.
Class attendance records, homework submissions, skill points earned, leaderboard rankings, login frequency, and engagement metrics. This data powers your Skill Meter, badges, and certificates.
Posts, comments, and likes you create in the Secret Room community. Your chosen pseudonym and room name for anonymous participation.
Payment transactions are processed entirely through Razorpay. We store the Razorpay order ID, payment ID, payment status, and plan type. We never store your card number, UPI PIN, or bank account details. Razorpay handles all sensitive payment data under their own security standards.
We use your information for the following purposes:
To create and manage your account on the platform
To provide access to live classes, homework, certificates, and community features
To calculate and display your skill points, badges, leaderboard ranking, and progress
To determine your eligibility for monthly completion certificates
To process payments and generate invoices through Razorpay
To send you class reminders, homework notifications, certificate emails, and renewal reminders
To display the Self Evaluation Test result card and profile insights
To generate admin flags that help us identify members who may need additional support
To improve the platform based on aggregate usage patterns
We take data security seriously. Google Meet links for live classes are stored in encrypted form in our database. All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Payment processing is handled entirely by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Access to the admin panel is protected by multi-factor authentication.
While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data but we are committed to protecting it to the best of our ability.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active on the platform. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, with the following exceptions:
Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax and financial regulations.
Anonymised activity data may be retained for platform analytics.
Certificate verification records are retained permanently to maintain the integrity of issued certificates.

You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
You can update or correct your profile information at any time from your dashboard.
You can request complete deletion of your account and personal data.

Bankpediaa Skill Lab is designed for working professionals in the banking sector. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
